This idyllic county, the largest inland in England has inspired many not least of which Houseman in 'A Shropshire Lad' Tell us of your experiences of Shropshire, your favourite places and tips to others to help enjoy it even more
ReplyDeleteThis truly is a beautiful county and not just the scenery, the people too and the beating heart of live music which appears to be burgeoning in the county and especially around Shrewsbury , the county town.
ReplyDeleteWhat with the Shrewsbury Folk festival and various Bluegrass and Americana gigs arranged by the wonderful www.newtwang.co.uk ...I wouldn't mind betting the International Music festival will be resurrected too!
More eateries seem to be opening too apart from the renowned Michelin star restaurants around Ludlow , even the bigger chains like Carluccio's who are opening in Shrewsbury next year are heading for little ol' sleepy Shropshire!
It's a great place to live!
